Pema´s friends

More than 170 people from more than 10 different countries around the world contribute to the various projects initiated and organised by Pema Dorjee. Village projects, support in education, environmental development, teaching of ethics, building of sites and housing intended to provide the basics for a better life in remote areas and for people in poverty.

A short overview will show the essential goals and information on what is going on and where to connect. The outstanding motivation and strength for every activity is humanity, compassion and great love for all sentient beings. All donations will be assigned to the projects described and in progress (PDF-file).

The latest project and fundraising started mid November 2010 for Street children in Nepal. One of the main goals is to create an open house for street children in the outskirts of Kathmandu where they can eat, play, get fresh clothes and sleep safely.

Also, it is crucial to to stop orphans from moving to Kathamdnu, where they beg, and so many become addicted to glue sniffing. All other activities in the far off regions, villages and places where most of these children come from create better circumstances and living conditions for them to stay (education, hygiene, health, community). The focus is to provide better living standards and education for girls. One person is already employed by the organisation and working directly in Kathmandu. Still: one more responsible person is needed to run the organization.
